Student Performance Venues | Winnipeg Groups

The Forks, located at the junction of the Red and Assiniboine rivers, has been a meeting place for over 6,000 years.

There are a variety of spaces options available, depending on the season and size of group.

PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITY DETAILS:

Season(s) available: All seasons.

Location: Canopy Plaza area, Historic Port, Oodena, CN Stage, Historic Rail Bridge. Possibly inside The Forks Market, if group is under 15 people.

Time of day available: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Minimum/ maximum group size: 10-100

Cost(s) to perform (if applicable): Fees vary on group size and location. Starting at $75.

Length of performance allowed: 10 min to 3 hours.

What is provided for the group’s performance? (I.e. choral risers, electrical, microphones, piano, etc.): Space and possibly electricity depending on space.

Are there any educational programs/tours available for pre- or post-performance? Yes- https://www.theforks.com/events/signature-events-attractions-tours

-        Canadian Museum for Human Rights

Is the venue appropriate for bands AND choirs?  Bands are location dependent; Canopy, CN Stage for full band use, all other locations are possible depending on requirements.   Unaccompanied choirs are permitted at all locations.

All groups will need to fill out the following information to help us gather the appropriate information for their booking. The completion of this form does not mean their event is confirmed.

We request that groups would not hand out information (pamphlets, brochures, etc) or approach Forks guests.
