Student Performance Venues | Winnipeg Groups

WAG-Qaumajuq has grown into one of the country’s leading visual art museums with an international reputation! Founded in 1912, the WAG is one of Canada’s first civic art galleries, housed in an iconic modernist building in the heart of downtown Winnipeg. Opened in 2021, Qaumajuq (the Inuit art centre) is a contemporary architectural landmark that connects to the WAG building on all four levels.

Length of performance allowed: 6 hr

What is provided for the group’s performance? (I.e. choral risers, electrical, microphones, piano, etc.): Electrical, 9-foot Baldwin grand piano available

Are there any educational programs/tours available for pre- or post-performance? Yes, tours and workshops are offered at 20% off when booking with a performance group

Is the venue appropriate for bands AND choirs? Yes
