The Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra is known for its diverse range of programming. Each year they play over 80 concerts including the internationally acclaimed Winnipeg New Music Festival. In addition to their performance opportunities, their Student Matinees program is designed to pull back the curtain on a classics performance and offer insight as to what it takes to being in the symphony. During these matiness concert students will observe a dress rehearsal then be invited for a Q&A with the conductor.
